Arrival Room

The crowd cheered Vanessa on as she received her talent.
"Garden Fairy!" Queen Clarion exclaimed as she touched the fairies shoulder. She guided the fairy to stand in the Garden Fairies corner as they waited for the other fairies to pick.

North timidly rose up from the floor and walked over to a surface. She went to the Garden talent first, seeing as it worked for the other girl, she might as well try. She cautiously touched the flower with her index finger. Suddenly, it gave a pathetic wheeze and wilted. North gasped, pulling her hand back quickly and pursing her lips, eyes wide. She walked over to the whirlwind of the fast-flying fairies and slowly reached out for it, but it disappeared in a puff of smoke.

Next to it was the snowflake of the winter fairies. For some reason, she had a gut feeling that was it. She reached out and touched it. The snowflake emitted a bright light. North curiously picked it up. Instead of evaporating like she expected, it stayed in her hands. She looked at Queen Clarion with wide eyes. "I-is this it?"

Queen Clarion nods in happiness as she declares the fairy's talent.
"Winter Fairy!" She exclaimed as she guided the fairy to the Winter Fairies corner.

Queen Clarion noticed the change of the fairy and sparrow man's wings. She quickly turned to them and announced to them and the audience that the two were siblings.
"You both have the same wing pattern indicating that you were born from the same laugh. Whenever you stand next to each other your wings will turn the same color; a bright mixture of pink and lavender. Your wings can do marvelous things. If one of you ever happens to injure your wings your other half will be able to heal you through their wings." Queen Clarion explained.

Anastasia's face was blank. She walked over to the cooking surface first. The cooking glove emitted a small spark. Startled, the brunette dropped the glove back on the surface, eyes widening. She looked around for something she might like. She slowly walked over to the Garden surface and touched the flower. It emitted a bright light, like for the three people before her and stayed in her hands, growing a brighter shade of pink than before. Unsure, Anastasia looked at Queen Clarion with a confused expression.

"Garden Fairy!" Queen Clarion exclaimed as she touched the fairy's shoulder followed by the crowds cheer.

Karina ascended from the wooden floor, looking around in confusion, and glancing around the offerings that were placed around her, floating above the mushrooms.
"What do I do..." "You'll see." Queen Clarion replied, gently smiling. She went around, going to have a look at the offerings. The new fairy picked up a light ball, smiling, before it disappeared. She then moved over to the fast-flying talent, touching the whirlwind, before the fast-flying talent guild's whirlwind dissipated under her touch. Karina continued to move, something catching her eye. the glint of the snowflake luring her over. She delicately handled the snowflake. The snowflake then stayed there in her hands, glowing brightly.

North smiled happily as she realized that the other fairy was a winter fairy. She gave Karina a small wave and a toothy grin.

"Winter Fairy!" Queen Clarion declared to the final fairy.
Suddenly, trumpets were blown by the music fairies.
"Fairies and Sparrow Men, the Mainland has given us beautiful treasure once again." Queen Clarion stated. The crowd then immediately shouted "Welcome to Pixie Hollow!" as if it was all planned.
"May the ministers please step forward." Queen Clarion stated.

The Minister of Winter a.k.a Snowflake flew up to the new winter fairies.
"Hello there. I am the minister of winter. I am in charge of what goes around in the Winter Woods which is where you will be living. We shall call you North, North Iceflitter. I am also the head of winter talent fairies. Periwinkle will show you around Pixie Hollow. Remember you cannot stay in warm areas for a long time or your wings will melt and never come back." Snowflake says as she flies back to the Winter Woods.

"Oh, um... yes, m'am." North said unsurely. That information was a lot to process and she had said it so lightly. She looked around for this Periwinkle person to show her around.

"Hey there! I'm Periwinkle!" The white haired girl says with excitement.
"Ooooh, there is so much to do! So much to say..." Peri says as she hugs North.
"We should probably hurry up and talk to the other new winter fairy." Peri continues as she goes to the other winter fairy with North.

Karina looked over, smiling when Periwinkle and North started to approach her. She waved, stepping forward carefully.

"HI!" North exclaimed cheerily to Karina, maybe a little more hyper than she had intended. "I'm... North Iceflitter, apparently."

She smiled happily, giving her two thumbs up.

"Oh hello, what a pleasure to have new garden fairies on the team. I am the Minister of Spring a.k.a Hyacinth. I am in charge of the spring realm and the head of the garden fairies." The minister said.
"Hmm, let's see what your names should be. Haha! You shall be called Vanessa and you shall be called Jake. Yes, Vanessa and Jake Florano. Hmm, and you shall be called Anastasia Pepperwillow." He said as he gave the new ones names.
"The You three definitely need to talk to Rosetta. She will show you around and tell you the essential things you need to know as a garden fairy. She will also help you find your main skill." He concluded as he brought Rosetta over and flew back to his duties.

As the audience rushed back to work in Pixie Hollow, Periwinkle talked to the new ones.
"Alright, so the Minister of Winter told me that your name should be Karina Norling soooo...well hey Karina how ya doin? Okay that's great we need to hurry up and go to the Winter Woods before we turn into melted ice. Chop,chop,chop,chop." Periwinkle rushed as she took the girls hands and helped them fly to the outsides of the Summer Glade in the Sunflower Gully to introduce them to the light fairies.

Meanwhile with the Garden Fairies...
"Well hello there my sugar plums, welcome to Pixie Hollow!" Rosetta exclaimed with her obvious country accent.
"I'm Rosetta and I'll be showing you around. C'mon let's get crakin'!" Rosetta added as she indicated to the new Garden Fairies to follow her. Their first stop was the Autumn Forest, at Cottonpuff Field.

The Next Day...
Queen Clarion gathered with a few of the fairies from the Pixie Postings and shopkeepers for the new arrival at Pixie Hollow. The daisy that held the fairy's life was laying gently on the arrival room's wooden floors. With a sprinkle of pixie dust a fairy was born.
"Born of laughter, clothed in cheer, happiness has brought you here. Welcome to Pixie Hollow." The Queen spoke. She then summoned the surfaces along with the usual fairy talent offering;
A pink rose to represent the garden talent, a dewdrop for the water talent, a small whirlwind for the fast flying talent, a bright piece of light for the light talent, a fragile snowflake for the winter talent, a paint brush for the art talent, a music sheet for the music talent, a stethoscope for the healing talent, a bag of pixie dust for the dust talent, a cooking glove for the kitchen talent, and a knitted ball for the tailoring talent.
"Please, pick." Queen Clarion said gently as she helped the fairy up.

Abigail looked around in curiosity. She started with what she considered the prettiest. She touched the pink rose with the tip of her finger but the flower only fell into darkness. Abi a bit shocked continued to the next offering she was interested in, she looked at the dewdrop and picked it up. The dewdrop then melted in her hands. She then stomped her feet on the ground in frustration.
"Don't worry you'll get it." Queen Clarion said.
Abi then calmed herself and moved on to the snowflake. She picked it up very gently and the suspension of weather it would have melted or not built around the room. The snowflake then started shining and twirling around.

"Congratulations, winter fairy." Queen Clarion said as she placed her hand on the fairy's shoulder.
The audience clapped and then went in to hug the new arrival.
"Here, have this leaf journal. It contains a map of Pixie Hollow and all of the important information you need." One of the guards from the Pixie Postings will show you around and will lead you until the border. You will have to use the map from your leaf journal from there. Good luck and fly safe." Queen Clarion said as she commanded the guard.
